If you want to travel with one bag and still have outfits you like, this printable planner helps you decide what to pack before you zip it. Start with a trip snapshot (dates, weather, activities, laundry access and your airline's carry-on size), then build a 12 to 15 piece capsule with a simple rule: two neutrals plus one accent, and every piece makes at least two outfits. Fill in outfit grids for 7, 10 or 14 days, test them with a mix-and-match matrix, and plan comfort-first outfits for the plane and a three-pair shoe limit. A liquids page explains the TSA 3.4 ounce quart-bag rule, with a link to the source, and master and personal item checklists keep the bag organized. Trip pages cover a Christmas or winter family visit, a cruise, a beach or warm-weather trip and a city or Europe walking trip, plus laundry on the road and a repack checklist for the trip home. The contents page links to every section for tablet use. 23 pages in US Letter, A4 and low-ink versions. Check your airline's own carry-on size before you pack. Style ideas, not rules: wear what feels like you.

Frequently asked questions

Does this give me a bag size?

No. Airlines set their own carry-on and personal item sizes and weight limits, and they change. The planner has a space on page 3 to write down your airline's size from its own website, and every list assumes you will check it.

How many clothes does it suggest?

A starting point of 12 pieces for 7 days, 13 for 10 days and 15 for 14 days, plus up to 3 pairs of shoes. Underwear, socks and sleepwear are counted separately, and you can adjust the numbers to your trip and laundry access.

Is the liquids rule accurate?

The liquids page states the TSA rule as published on tsa.gov at the time of writing (November 2026): containers of 3.4 ounces or less, in one clear quart-size bag. Rules change and other countries have their own, so it links you to the source and asks you to check before you fly.

Does it work for trips with laundry or without?

Both. A laundry page covers sink washing, a washer and dryer, and a laundromat, and the grids have space to mark your wash day so you can pack for the days between washes.

Do I need to print it?

No, but most people print the capsule builder, grid and checklists. You get US Letter, A4 and a low-ink version, and the contents page links to every section if you prefer a tablet.

Is this a physical product?

No. It's a digital download of 23 pages in US Letter and A4, plus a low-ink version. Nothing is shipped.

How do I get my files?

Right after payment the download opens on the order page, and our checkout partner Dodo Payments emails you a copy. If you can't find it, check spam or promotions, or write to [email protected].

Can I print it more than once?

Yes. Print as many copies as you need for your own personal use. Please don't share or resell the files.

Can I use it on a tablet?

Yes. Open the PDF in any app that lets you write on PDFs, such as GoodNotes, Notability or Xodo.

Can I get a refund?

Digital files can't be returned, so sales are final. If a file is defective, incomplete or not as described, email [email protected] within 14 days and we'll replace it or refund you.
